Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Seaweed pack-Review

Today I am going to review the Blossom Kochhar Aroma magic SEAWEED PACK.
It comes in a tub and with their trademark  red and white packaging. Its made of all natural ingredients
so it is really good for your skin.It has a plastic cover on the top so it prevents any dust to get in.It goes on  so smoothly  and the instructions say to leave it on for 20 mins..but since i often forget that i've applied this i leave it on for way longer.

Ingredients:

Its a green-coloured goodness i tell you! Its texture is like a gel formula so its very easy to apply. It has an organic feeling when you apply it or atleast for me..may be because of its colour?!
PRO:

  • Natural/Organic stuff so you wont be damaging your skin.
  • Very light texture, so you can apply it and it feels like your second skin.
  • Gives a subtle brightness to your skin.
CON:
  •  Doesn't really give you a clean feeling after application.
  • Tub packaging is always a no-no cause you have to scoop it out.Its even worse if you have long nails
  • Its a little hard to wash off..so i generally do this before a shower.
I would rate it 2/5.
I don't think i am gonna repurchase this, conserding the fact that there are plenty more packs in the market that perfom better than this!

Sebastian Potion 9 Lite-Review

Heyya! So, I have been trying out new leave-in conditioners lately. The latest one is this,Sebastian Potion 9 Lite. When my hairstylist suggested this I was a little apprehensive to buy it cause it was too pricey. But then by the end of my blowdry ,I was pretty much convinced that it was worth it! It left a visible difference on my hair.
It comes in a pretty spray bottle so its pretty easy to use. Also it is a very light weight product so it does not weigh the hair down at all. It makes your hair really smooth and silky to feel. You can also use this for creating slight everyday curls. All you need to do is to spray this on towel dried hair and scrunch it.It leaves beautiful wavy curls. It doesn't make it shine though but makes it soft for sure.
There are a ton of chemical ingredients in it so i dont know what it does to our hair but it dint make create any hairfall for me and that coming from me is a big thing cause most of the leave-in serums make me lose soo much hair! It retails for about Rs1400 for 150ml (ouch) but i feel it is worth every penny.
Rating: 4.5 / 5
Repurchase: I would wanna try something else too but this I would repurchase!!

Nivea Med Protection-Review

I am constantly on the look out for lip balms.Every where.I think  it's becoming a disorder! That aside, I discovered this a few months back and i am quite loving it.I have really dry, chapped lips so I bought some thing that would give me medical-ish benefits than Cosmetic benefits. It has a SPF of 15 which is really helpful cause it prevents damage from the sun and prevents darkening of the lips further.

I found a good difference just after i apply it but the only downside is that it doesn't last long. It does make your lips hydrated, soft and supple. It make your lips looked really good afterwards. It has a golden-ish translucence to it so it leaves a very nice effect on your lips unlike some other lip balms that leave a white cast on your lips. You will have to keep reapplying it every 2  hours and after drinking some thing. It gives a well moisturized feeling to the lips. Doesn't have too much shine to it so you can wear it under your lipstick. It has an expiry period of about 2 years. It retails for about Rs 145 for about 4.8g.

I consider this a GOOD BUY if you have really dry lips.I would defiantly repurchase this.

RATING: 4/5.

Benefits of Lemon

Lemon has several medicinal properties and it is commonly used in the treatment of constipation, indigestion, skin disorders, dental problems, chronic illnesses like respiratory disorders and blood pressure. Lemon is also useful for purifying the blood, strengthening the immunity and cleansing the stomach. Lemon has been used traditionally in the treatment of hair problems as well. Common scalp problems like dandruff are treated with the help of lemon. Hair loss is also treated with the help of lemon juice. Lemon helps tighten the hair roots and makes hair less brittle thus preventing breakage. Lemon is also used as a natural conditioner for the hair. Applying lemon juice on the hair gives it a natural shine. Lemon also gives the hair volume and improves its texture. Lemon is thus very useful in caring for hair that is scanty and dull. Like other citrus fruits, the lemon is a rich source of vitamin C and this contributes a great deal to hair a skin health. Applying the juice of a lemon on hair that is greasy helps regulate sebaceous glands in the scalp and reduces oiliness in the scalp and the hair. This also helps control dandruff caused by excessive oiliness of the scalp.
Lemon is an effective natural bleach and helps lighten hair. Rinse your hair with lemon after shampooing, and the acidic nature of the juice of the lemon will lighten the color of your hair. Lemon can be used in homemade shampoos to help care for hair at home. An effective homemade shampoo can be made using a teaspoon of lemon juice, one whole egg, one teaspoon of olive oil, ½ a cup of water and a few pieces of mild soap. Mix all the ingredients together and allow the mixture to stand for a little while to allow the soap to dissolve. Apply this on your hair and rinse to obtain a smooth shine. Lemon is also a natural conditioner and can be used along with henna powder, eggs and hair oil to prepare a homemade conditioner. Mix 4 tablespoons of henna, one tablespoon of hair oil, the juice of half a lemon and one egg and use this to condition your hair after every hair wash. Make an effective hair pack using lemon (one tablespoon), two tablespoons of honey, one egg, essential oil (a few drops) and two tablespoons of olive oil. Mix these ingredients together and apply it on your hair. Wrap your hair with a warm towel and leave it on for at least twenty minutes. Wash off with shampoo and cold water for the best results.
Hair Packs

  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 table spoon olive oil (any massage oil can be used like, almond oil, mustard oil, coconut oil or sesame oil)
  • Few drops of essential oil

Mix all the constituents well in a bowl and apply over the entire face. Leave it for twenty to forty minutes, followed by shampooing with luke warm water. End with a cold water rinse. This is an effective hair treatment for all hair types.
Hair Spray
Lemon Hair Spray This is a quick recipe, which works well for all types of hairs. All you need;
  • 2 to 4 lemons
  • 4 cups of water
  • Drops of essential oil

Cut lemons in slices and place in a sauce pan along with water. Let it simmer for fifteen minutes till half of the water has evaporated. Strain the liquid and add essential oil. Pour this in a spray bottle and keep refrigerated. Here it stays well for a week or so.

Next Lemon in terms of skin care,
Lemon juice contains one of the AHAs or Alpha Hydroxy Acids which is citric acid. It works by sloughing off dead skin, promoting skin elasticity, and enabling new skin cell growth rise from underneath. It also flushes out pores and keeps your skin feeling fresh and bright.
SO first,
  1. Ensure your skin is clean.
  2. Squeeze 1 teaspoon of lemon juice into a small bowl. Use a cotton ball to soak up some juice. Dilute it with water if it burns.
  3. Dab the juice onto your pimples, whiteheads, blackheads, and pimples.
  4. Leave on over night and rinse in the morning. Apply it again (under your makeup if you’re female).
  5. If you find the lemon juice too strong too leave on, even diluted with water, wash it off after 10 minutes in cold water.

Expect improvements with this remedy after about 2 weeks. At this time, add a gentle cleanser with glycolic acid according to your skin type.
It is possible that your acne is only one symptom of your body not receiving enough nutrients, vitamins, minerals or liquids. Therefore, consider detoxifying your body, which gets to the root cause of many diseases, including acne.
